Webinar on the Next Generation of Wind Farm Control: 4 European Projects

  • September 10, 2024
  • to September 10, 2024
  • online

Join the webinar at 10:00 – 11:30 CET on September 10th hosted by four projects (ICONIC, SUDOCO, TWAIN Project and WILLOW) under the Horizon Europe call “Integrated Wind Farm Control”.

To achieve the EU’s goal of being climate neutral by 2050, the next generation of wind farms will need to be supported by an even more innovative set of physical and digital tools, as well as operational controls, collectively known as wind farm control.

Generally, wind farm control refers to the coordination of different wind turbines within a wind farm to improve the overall farm power production and to reduce structural loading among wind turbines.

ICONIC, SUDOCO, TWAIN Project and WILLOW are working on achieving these innovations.
